From Angela Powers, 2010 Concert on the Green Chair: Orange Park, FL November 1, 2009. The Rotary Club of Fleming Island, sponsor of the 21 year old Concert on the Green series, has announced plans for the 22nd annual Concert on the Green. The Concert is expected to be held once more on the beautiful grounds of St. Johns River Community College in Orange Park on the Sunday before Memorial Day, May 30th, 2010. The Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra will again be the star attraction, with visual and performing arts contests for County students, fireworks, sky divers and other family entertainment as well, please mark your calendars. In addition to general admission tickets, the Club has designed comprehensive patron and sponsorship packages. Patrons and sponsors will have a unique opportunity to experience the Concert up close and in comfort. In addition to tickets to the event, they will also receive tickets to a Masterworks performance by the Jacksonville Symphony April 16-18th 2010. Patrons and sponsors will receive print and media recognition, VIP seating at candle lit tables directly in front of the Orchestra, VIP parking, and a gourmet dinner with a wine and beer service catered by Nonie’s Catering. Gourmet specialties such as smoked salmon, beef tenderloin, Nonie’s well known signature salads and desserts will be available to those that choose to buy packages. Patron and Sponsor packages will start as low as $300 for four guests. Ticket prices and availability, Patron and Sponsorship information, frequently asked questions, maps, and arts scholarship competition information are all available on the event website.
