This year’s Concert on the Green Poster Contest was a tremendous success; please encourage your child or student to participate! The rewards are many. Read on...

The winning poster was outstanding and the number of schools and students that participated in the Poster Contest was at an all time high. We thank all of you that encouraged your students to enter the contest and supported them during the contest.

This year’s winner, Tristan Dollinger, is a senior from Fleming Island High School. As a result, Tristan won a $1,000 scholarship and Fleming Island High School received a $1,000 grant for its Art Department. There were over 80 entries from Clay County schools.

The annual Concert on the Green Poster Contest is an excellent opportunity for students and their art programs. Winning students not only receive a scholarship award, they receive recognition for their work and will have a juried piece for their portfolios.

The Clay County school program responsible for producing the winning poster will receive a $1000 program grant, in addition to recognition via Concert on the Green press releases and news articles. If a winning student is home-schooled or is a resident of Clay County but attends a non-Clay County school, the grant will go to a Clay County school or a Clay County non-profit art organization of his/her choice.
